Voz pasiva con dos Complementos
Si escribimos el complemento directo delante necesitamos una preposición para el indirecto, generalmente, to o for.
Muchos verbos suelen ir acompañados de dos complementos, uno directo (que suele referirse a objetos) y otro indirecto (que suele referirse a personas).
El complemento indirecto suele ir delante del directo.
She gave me her phone number. me = Complemento indirecto / her phone number = Complemento directo
I wish you a happy New Year. you = Complemento indirecto / a happy New Year = Complemento directo
He bought some flower to his girlfriend.
I will cook some food for you.
En las oraciones pasivas hay dos estructuras correctas. Tanto el complemento directo como el indirecto pueden pasar a ser el sujeto de la oración pasiva.
They gave Peter a clock when he retired A clock was given to Peter when he retired / Peter was given a clock when he retired.
